This room was designed by a female designer. The theme of the rooms is Konayuki (powder snow). The bedroom is designed with wallpapers that express “a scene as if it were snowing”. The bathtubs, as in all 7 rooms, are made of wood, called Koyamaki (umbrella pine). The walls are made out of cypress and marble with subtle details that provides relaxation throughout the bathroom.

The walls of the bedroom display distinct patterns, which are due to a traditional Japanese architectural technique. The townhouse holds a small roomsuch like a tea room which is about 11 square feet with traditional Japanese floorings called tatami. This is a room where you can perceive an authentic Japanese atmosphere ubiquitously.

Similar to Room 2, Room 3 is a room that has an authentic Japanese atmosphere as well. The bamboo used for partitions to assure guests’ privacy is called kenninjij-gaki. For guests to enjoy Japanese tradition, the room has with a bathtub made of wood as well.

Along with a sense of traditional Japanese architecture, Room 5 holds a modern and delightful feel. Garden chair is settled on the deck, where guests can enjoy a relaxing time with tea during the daytime and champagne in the evening. Guests can overlook at the garden from the living room and deck. Of course, the room is ubiquitous with authentic Japanese touches, such as bathtubs made of wood and the usage of traditional Japanese paper on the walls of the bedroom.

Room 6 has a more tranquil atmosphere compared to the other rooms of Campton Kiyomizu. Seen from the bed are the small garden, which guests can admire the season and the Yasaka Pagoda. The bathroom, which consists of a bathtub made of wood, provides a soothing ambience with its brick-like black walls.

Room 7 is a executive room where you can catch sight of the Yasaka Pagoda. And which there is craftsman’s masterpiece where a variety of traditional Japanese techniques. The chairs in the living room are decorated with nishijin-ori textile.
